Festive inauguration: 3D-ED Experience Center in Basel
On 30th of March, ELDICO hosted the inauguration event of the world’s 1st Electron Diffraction Experience Center in Basel. With over 250 people present either in person or online, the hows and whys of electron crystallography as a nano-analytical technique that will push drug development for the better were dissected by a superb array of scientists and industry experts among the leading representatives of European crystallography. The Experience Center is supported by Roche, Idorsia, Boehringer-Ingelheim and the Swiss Nanoscience Institute (SNI) and now open to users from science and industry. Quality breakthrough: R1 values below 10% on C24H18
Triphenylbenzene experiments on ELDICO ED-1 brought our continuous R&D to a significant milestone: R1 values as low as 9.7% (lower than previously published) were achieved with a standard kinematic refinement from a single run. Read more
